Environmentally Friendly Drug Disposal Program

The NDPhA and the North Dakota Pharmacy Board sponsor an environmentally friendly drug disposal program.  This free program allows you to safely and conveniently dispose of unwanted or unused medications in secure locations.  Returned medications are disposed of in a way to prevent water contamination.

You may also elect to participate in North Dakota’s Drug Take Back Program (sponsored by the North Dakota Attorney General).  This program allows you to safely and conveniently dispose of unwanted or unused medications, including controlled substances) in secure locations.
